Should I worry about my son Wikipedia addiction?

My teenage son is addicted to online encyclopedia Wikipedia. When he arrives home from school, he spends hours browsing Wikipedia, often at night. All that does not read the favorite the next day. During the holidays, he spends the day reading the encyclopedia. My wife and I were thinking about stopping, but realized that our son has become much more informed, and he speaks very well and impressed many of our friends and family with his encyclopedic knowledge, literally. Because it can be a positive dependence, but do not know whether to let the learning process to take its own course if intervene and stop it before it becomes harmful. For example, he begins to lose friends and become increasingly isolated. Not easily make friends, for always talking about what read on Wikipedia. His knowledge is so vast that intimidates others, and therefore nobody talks about it. What should I do?
