How I can help my roommate to reduce its dependence disturbing to Yahoo Answers and have a life?

My roommate is a wonderful interesting, fun, hard worker who had a difficult time since moving abroad. I recently got completely addicted to Yahoo Answers, a prey to a disturbing 2,000 points last week. How I can leave the house and have fun instead of wasting time like this?
