serious question does being a football fan encourage alcoholism?

Drink+Football culture in Glasgow =drink before ,during + postgame and use the two together in a social way,personally i feel football fan is equal to=alcoholic and the only ones who do not drink booze at match times are under 18’s and ex-drinkers (in recovery).
FQ how many sensible teetotallers sit and watch football?

Drink should be banned before old firm games especially….bit in the Daily Record the day about violence against women,and i know how these women feel about being on edge on old firm games,used to get verbally abused,as hubby’s a Celtic fan and i’m a rangers fan,at one point i wouldn’t even watch the games,but now,i watch them,i warn him,”1 foot out of place and he can get to hell”,he knows now i’m serious,we have a reasonably happy house after them now..lol.

Oh and btw…its not just “In Scotland”….it’s fans all over.x
