Student loan consolidation, as opposed to rehabilitation?

My student loan is currently in a consolidation. I did not realize that there could be rehab'dy finally come of my credit report after 9 months of time on their payments. Now I do not belong to rehab b / c is not in default because I have more consolidated. Is there any way out of the consolidation program and get in rehabilitation?
