How I can become a California resident again?

I lived in California for the past two years, but because the family complcate I moved to Florida. I've only been here three months and things did not work, so I am moving to California in October. Do I have to go through all roles I've done before or that can still be considered a resident of California? I am also a student. This there any complications?
