How can I repair my credit?
I have student loans that I was unable to pay on for a few years after they became due. I racked up a ton of fees and the accounts eventually went into collections. I started a payment plan and entered rehabilitation with the student loans. I’m now paying regularly, but these accounts are the only thing on my credit. How can I better my credit score?
you need revolving credit (credit card history) also on your record, try for something small…maybe a $500 credit card or a secured credit card – pay it off every month and then when you get a car or other installment loan it will give you a good mix of credit. keep paying bills on-time & pay off all accts that are set up on payment plans or in collections
