Questions about the work force Department of labor?
I currently go to the Department of Labor or Work Force as it is called out west.
Very often I look for jobs on the computer and post my resume on line, in addition I meet with my counselor (my career couselor) once a week.
My question is do the counselors get paid in part because the unemployed worker does not have a job? Because there seems to be a lot of people unemployed that cannot get jobs and there seems to be a huge turn around or revolving door of people that get jobs lose jobs and wind right back at the center again Why is this?
I realize that the counselors are there to help and they do thier best but it is almost like they are promoting voc rehab and all these programs that dont necessarily get you a job.
It is almost like they like you to be unemployed because so many people go to these work forces but many are not successful very rarely do you hear of these people getting jobs.
Am I wrong to feel this way? What is your take on this?
Your situation is a “text book” scenario on why you should never rely on anything the government offers. You are wasting a huge amount of your time mucking around with government employees who are only interested in keeping you UNEMPLOYED!… because THEY would be out of a job if you didn’t need their services!
Use your own brain and find a job on your own. Don’t ever rely on the government to be a “Nanny” and do anything for you other than to collect taxes from you.
