family therapy addictions
Is it possible to prosecute a doctor for yourself addicted to the pills?

I injured a year ago and was referred to an ortho for my doctor. Ortho did X-ray, seeing nothing broken, but it hurts like h3ll. There was no treatment involved or anything, just started giving my 60 7.5 Loritabs a month, and 60 mg to 40. OxyContin month. After several months I have become addicted to them and hospitalized for addiction and severe depression. I tried to kill myself and my family has suffered greatly. I lost my job so much and the value of my car. I'm better now, but I'm afraid even to take an aspirin. "I can sue the doctor for malpractice, including any civil suit? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I think you're in the uncomfortable position of having suffered, but also have emerged from the ordeal of a single Part. If the only problem I have now the pain of the initial injury (and fear of pills), probably not too far of a trial. I would only do so after to consult a lawyer who thought you had a good cause and proposed to do so urgently – you pay if you win damages. It is a very good test of whether your case no hope. On another note, are now part of the population who has an appreciation for the hell of drugs and can easily become addicted.
