Can you tell me the legal procedure of stopping the medication for someone who is SMI?
I priscribed Seroquel and Effexor and addiction to methadone scisophreinia, a doctor may cut me out of methadone treatment for addiction?
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the doctor may be able to reduce methadone dose gradually until you no longer takes. However, it can be more complicated than that, given a diagnosis of schizophrenia and treatment with other drugs. Up methadone too quickly could interfere with the treatment of schizophrenia. opiate withdrawal may aggravate the symptoms of schizophrenia worse, and these drugs may need adjusting.
